Add jultz to the Ufa list. A RH puck mover I'd have interest. Another mdz special

Guys good news...my wife is due 8/1...I have convinced her that if it's born on 7/28 and is a boy...I get to name him Claude

By convinced her, I mean that she laughed directly to my face and told me to shut the (frank) up, but I would call that progress...I have a month to negotiate

I'm still really bummed Lindblom didn't come over for the phantoms.
- Just5

Has he decided to return to Sweden next year? He played on an ATO contract for the last several games of the Phantoms last year and put up some decent stats. I know one game towards the end he had two goals and an assist. I haven't heard any update about a decision for the 2016-2017 season though.

Also they could add a puck mover in Provorov this season.

I have a hard time seeing him back in juniors unless he is god awful

two players I would be interested in are Brett Connolly and Joe Colburne who were not qualified. Both big and skilled.

I think Schenn's camp noticed the Forsberg deal. 6 years at 36 million.
- J35Bacher

Schenn is not in the class of Forsberg as a player. I don't see anyone thinking that is a reasonable comparable.

Over $1,877,615 to $3,755,233 Second-round pick
Over $3,755,233 to $5,632,847 First and third-round picks

Any interest in an OS to Trouba? Does WPG definitely match if its 7 years at the highest value in the bolded part?

You don't.

But what does his agent and the player think?

i dunno...the more i picture it the less i see it working. it either makes pirri a liability, or gives coots a weapon...i dont really see how a guy thats as sheltered as he is is that bad at possession. i think im sticking to my guns and saying soft pass
- YuenglingJagr

The Panthers and Ducks dumped him for nothing, which makes me think he's either not good or is going to ask for an ungodly amount of money.

They are going to look at recently signed deals. Both guys just scored 30 goals. Both were probably the teams best forwards. (yes you could argue that Schenn was one of the Flyers top forwards.) Both RFA.

If I am the agent that deal is where I am starting. I know the RFA leverage the Flyers have but I am not settling for much less at all. Especially with so many teams looking for scoring, Flyers included.

- J35Bacher

How old the player was when scoring those totals is a big factor. Nashville is banking on him continuing to get better, so they get him cheaper in the long run. Brandon Saad is probably a better comparable for Schenn.

Bill said he's going back to Sweden. He would've been the phantoms best forward I think. He was a pleasure to watch the couple games I saw.

They can think that he's comparable to Sidney Crosby if they want, isn't going to make it reasonable. He's not Forsberg. Forsberg is trending as a 21 year old future superstar player in the league.

I would take a chance. Flyers are in a position too. We need RH sticks and he would fit in possibly on PP2. He's good at moving the puck which is what this game is going too. Again all for the right price and term

As the great poet Coolio once said, it's a fantastic voyage.
