really? id be shocked if he doesnt put up more points than he did this season. he will have 18 more games to do so, and he is the straw that stirs the drink on the PP. hopefully Joey Mullen figures out that problem this summer

point total and scoring rates are unequal

also giroux stirs the drink...ghost is the jerk that you let try your drink and he/she takes the biggest sip ever

THIS IS A SERIOUS QUESTION

As a child I read a book about this excavator that went around excavating things. It was an awesome book. I believe the little guy was red with a black top. For the life of me I can't remember the name of the excavator or the book. I want to find a copy of it. as a hint it was something like "the little engine that could" except with an excavator instead of a little engine. I cant remember if the book was about what an excavator could or couldn't do though...if I remember correctly it kept excavating until there was like...nothing left to excavate

Currently my only outstanding bet is the naming of my child.

It is my wife's car even though I traded one of mine for it. 2017 santa fe sport with all the fixins. They were offering some pretty amazing incentives for the end of the month

About as long as the Coyotes can realistically stay in Arizona.

It is a glorious day

People will speak of your name and what you did here today for what I would hope would be the rest of time...but I cant confirm that

id be shocked if he scored at the same rate as he did last season
- YuenglingJagr

I think his scoring could go down, but I think his possession stats improve. He passed every microstat available, but his Corsi was only average. He's a better 2-way player than he gets credit for...I think that will come out this year. Having a reliable partner and not Manning or AMac should help too.

Ghost is a smarter d man than I ever could've imagined. I figured he'd be a sheltered PP specialist. I'm wary to underestimate him again.

Yo, PSG, you read the Hinkie article on ESPN's main page?

Lol I know you did.

Relocation doesn't prohibit expansion. The NHL wants to make more money -- both can be done together. There's 31 teams now. It seems inevitable and closer than some think.

Seattle's new arena doesn't seem that close.

I wonder which one we lose in the next expansion draft
- mayorofangrytown

Trade the most expendable one for a nice return the way the Ducks will with Fowler.

Or one of them busts and you leave him unprotected.

He'll be a beast. Give him Gudas all season and his possession numbers will be beautiful

It really depends on who is going.to be on the roster, but if MacDonald is in the top 6, I'd keep him and Gostisbehere together. They compliment each other well, and MacDonald is the perfect kind of defense partner for him.

I actually like him less with Gudas than some other options because Gudas launches so many at the net himself

But how will MDZ's possession numbers be without Gudas to pull them up.

They could expand somewhere else first. They could go to Portland. If the Canadian economy improves, Quebec City is always an option. Even somewhere new and bold like...Atlanta.

Seattle isn't getting a team anytime soon. If they're moving to the Pacific Northwest, Portland makes more sense probably.

He kinda has to play RD though with our lineup. Provorov can be welcomed to the NHL by cozying up to the bearded one. MDZ with Ghost.

If MDZ is going to match up against top lines, it would be a mistake to pair Gostisbehere with Del Zotto.

Burlap jerseys with a logo of Cosmo Kramer, a team requirement to grow a beard all season and then shave it when the postseason begins. I could dig it.

putting our two best defensemen up against the oppositions best would be a mistake?

im fine with sheltering Ghost to give him offensive chances...but I wouldnt say it is a mistake
