Well in comparison it's not a lot, but better than past summers. Like you said, they can easily resign everyone and a bargain buy here and there. As long as the Flyers don't go crazy with Schenn or UFAs they are in a great position next summer with more lost dead weight and hopefully a decent bridge for Ghost.

If Hartnell is willing to waive his NMC for the expansion drafts, I don't know why a team with cap space wouldn't take him + an asset/reduction in salary. For some reason, he gets lumped in with these other terrible players with big contracts. He's still a good player. He's not Clarkson.
