Kinda hope the Rangers and Buchnevich agree that he needs to go back to the KHL. He needs to add so muscle to his frame. Plus it will give us some clarity. His first good stretch we as a fan base will claim all start/calder finalist. First bad stretch, AV will have him in the press box and the fan base will want him fired for the 1 millionth time.

Buch has to play, the yo yo ing in & out of the lineup or putting him on the 4th line is pointless.
Without a transfer agreement, if he goes back there and signs a multi-year deal there's a nearly-zero-percent chance he's going to come back. - eichiefs9

Well it's the Rangers or the KHL. He has a clause in his contract if the Rangers trying t send him to the AHL, he refute it and leave for the K.

I know but he's not getting top 6 minutes and the LW on the Rangers crowded right now. I just he'd be better getting 20 minutes a night in the KHL. - tomburton99
I know about the AHL out-clause you mentioned in your other post, but what he probably really needs is to play in the AHL. Your point about getting 20min a night in the KHL is fair, but he probably needs to adjust his game to the NA-sized rink.
Even if the Rangers don't ultimately move Nash or Kreider, if Buchnevich is really that talented then I don't see why he can't leapfrog, at the very least, Kreider. Playing 3rd line wing may not be the end of the world for him.

Was referring to TPC. Not just him, but if the Rangers do re-sign Kreider and Buch happen to jump him in the depth it's going to be "Why is AV playing inexperienced kid over veteran" vs "Buchnevich makes his line mates better because of SAcorsiP/60 etc." Gotta say I'm tired of that argument.

Just so you know, I wouldn't make that argument. I have my own reasons
