They were my second fave team also. Love the way they overachieved for a few years and had great playoff runs (beating Ottawa )

Lately though, they've been kind of meh. Maybe the Garf/Pachla stupidity and some of their fans here have ruined it for me.

I think Stamkos is going to want to be almost guaranteed that the team he signs with plays him at center. Not sure Leafs will offer that. Also think they get out bid. Just don't see him choosing Toronto sadly and unfortunately.

Someone should really warn Stamkos about Garf if he signs there. I fear for his safety.

Lucic would look awfully good creating some space for smurfs like Marner, Nylander, Tymashov, etc.

Nylander was not the same player after he got his bell rung at the WJC.
Chara would hit Marner up to about the 16th row if he got him with his head down.

It could come in one of two ways: An extension with Tampa, which seems highly unlikely, or as part of a sign-and-trade agreement between the Lightning and his desired destination.
