Milan Lucic spent most of yesterday being wooed by the Canucks in his hometown. The Oilers are the front-runners though.

- MCharisma91

I just have this feeling that Lucic is going to get very old very fast.

A seven year contract is going to end up biting some team in the donkey.

IF Oilers were to land Lucic, would think a Hall deal becomes much more likely. Can't have 17.5m tied up in 4LW'ers.

who's scoring for them then??

why not keep Hall, and deal 1 of RNH/Eberle ...

untouchable, elite first overall. He cannot be traded for anything less than one of the top 2 or 3 dmen in the league.

I counter this and contend that in the absense of a disease such as Progeria, that time (and thus aging) is a relatively linear concept...

Lucic would look awfully good creating some space for smurfs like Marner, Nylander, Tymashov, etc.

Nylander was not the same player after he got his bell rung at the WJC.
Chara would hit Marner up to about the 16th row if he got him with his head down.

We need more grit for sure.

Nylander was fine after his hit..

And no ones worried about Marner getting beat up.. theres plenty of smaller players in the league.

We got rychel. Good start.

Lucic is the exact contract you want to avoid imo.

I believe Einstein's field equations indicate that time can be nonlinear when curved by matter and energy. How this will affect Lucic career prospect is very remote.
