Makes way more than Carey Price, and his game in the defensive zone is questionable, not as bad as say Gardiner, but closer to Gardiner in his own zone then lets say Doughty or Keith. If you put him on the Pens, should he be the top salary? Black Hawks? I see the point that he is a top point producer on a relatively weak offensive team, but his defense not even close to his offense.

At 11 million a year for two then 10 million for two then 8 million for two and a $9 million a year CAP HIT - yes he sucks large. You might like Heineken for example, once you pay $50 per bottle, its not such a great deal.

i think it was pretty evident that without price the habs dont have what it takes as a whole

sure its good to have a star goalie... but if your team falls apart with the absence of one player there are problems.... maybe last year was a wake up call for the habs franchise
