Ladd came back to Chicago...Weise understood he was traded because the Habs were missing the PO. They gave him the opportunity to go at it with Chicago and got a very decent return during the process. 3 years 5,25M$ i would definetly do it.

Habs have 8M left in cap space with Danault and Carr left to sign. MB will want to keep 1-2M in cap space available to bring up players from the minors if necessary.

I think they are working with around 4M in cap space to sign players unless they make a trade to clear cap space....for Stamkos.

Yeah i saw they have 8,66M$ of cap space. They have 11F, 7D and 2G signed. How many contract can they have against the cap 21? If so, they would have about 7M$ in space. They should make some space on the cap and Emelin seems like the obvious choice, but with MB nothing is obvious so let's wait and see.

EDIT: I would love to see MB enter the Stamkos' sweepstakes but man this look unlikely.
