he averages about 20 goals/20 assists every 80 games.
we had 2 players score 20 goals last year. 2 (frank)ing players. - DoubleDown
He had some good seasons here and there, but looking at his stats, 20 goals are no guarantee from him. Had 12 goals, 36 points last season. I could see him sucking here as much as Parenteau.
Maybe for 1 or 2 year(s) if they can't get anybody, but meh. |

He's amazing without the puck.
He's even better on the bench! |

All that rebuilding leading towards about 4 months of being a good team. |

Yeah, he was better there. But it's hard to know what to expect from him. There's a reason he should be cheap. |

Carr and Sven might be fighting each other for ice time.
Sven has shown to be a sparkplug who is defensively reliable, likely why he got so much time under MT as a rookie.
Carr showed he can maybe get to the 15-20 goal plateau, if things go right. He hangs around the net, and at one point, was the only player scoring for the Habs 'til he got injured.
Depending on who we pick up this summer (if anyone), Sven will likely play with Pleks and Carr with DD.... until DD gets promoted to #1 center with Patches and Gallagher by the 7th game of the season. |

at 2.5-3M$ for 1-2 years it's not that big of a risk. |

If we're lucky Lehkonen could be a surprise as well...

You know, Snow has turned into a fairly decent GM... made some bad moves, but also some good ones. I really think that situation is more (frank)ed up because of the owner, not really the GM (or even coach). |

Garth Snow is determined to do just enough to hold them back every year.
Keep expectations low. |

It's going to be humbling for Stamkos to play on the fourth line. |

If I were him I'd want to get out of this clown organization ASAP...even if they have the cap space. |
