The whole "Expansion" deal makes me crazy and shows why Bettman gets booed and is hated by most fans. We have franchises like FLA that can't bring in more than a couple thousand fans yet they keep jamming teams into the south and now the west. Just relocate already, if a city can't support the team move them!

I do think the league needs to get to 32 teams to even out the divisions and conferences.

However they do need to relocate some teams first.

Watch a Panthers game and all the seats look empty, it's the seats are red so it throws people off.

Why do we need him ? the AVS need D men but he still can't make it there, he was traded for a reason.
- SABRES 89

guy just turned 21 and hadn't had a lot of seasoning because of the mess that was the 2014/15 season...whether it was his fault or his agents fault doesn't matter when it comes to his "stinky" game...

he and risto dominated when they played together at the traverse city tournament in 2014 and they were expected to do the same at the pro level...yeah, he came into camp in poor shape and yes his showed plenty of immaturity, but you can't discount his size, skating and skill level and the fact that he was just discovering his offensive potential...

Detroit only makes sense to me in the idea Stamkos would be "thee guy" which apparently he is mad at not completely being that in TB.

That said if you look at the division for the next decade BUF, TOR, TB, & FLA all look like the class of the division. Even if he goes to DET I don't see them seriously knocking one of those four out given the talent they have which is why I really see it down to just TOR, BUF, TB< & the NYR (solely money there). I guess if none of them would go to over 10 mil then Det can have a chance, but then it messes their cap so idk.

stamkos/larkin is a pretty good one-two punch down the middle

Yes.

But also an immature idiot until prove otherwise as well.

Yeah and so are all my friends and 80% of the crowd in downtown Buffalo on Friday and Saturday nights. I don't care if he's passed out in front of Jim's on Chipp, I care if he gives it 100% on the ice. People that think athletes and celebrities are or should be role models should seriously reconsider.

Regardless you don't tell your coach how it's gonna go and he did to Nolan but Nolan bowed down to him, another thing that pissed Murray off. Then Murray himself got involved and it didn't get any better.

I'll lose all respect for him if he goes to the Rangers, no reason for him to go there.
- SABRES 89

Rangers though quietly get in these types of trades and some players really do like the idea of being in the big lights I guess.

to be honest, I can't believe the 'yotes gm went for that trade...the 26 yr. old analytics guru got totally schooled
- Michael Pachla

Wait, for the trade for Datsyuk's contract? I thought that move was genius on Arizona's part. They get a cap hit, don't have to pay the money since he retired (Right? I looked in the CBA but my eyes bled trying to find it), and got a pick in the process. Only 1 year of paying it on the cap, I think it's a great move by them.

fair enough, but that still has nothing to do with talent and he's a very talented player...

his attitude might stink, his decisions stunk, but there's no stank on his game yet at such a young age

Bulls$$t I never said he would be a stud, that's crap you do because you fixate on players and act like your life is coming to an end if we get them or don't get them.

Junior seriously let's talk here.

Two of her friends tweeted it. Not tons of people.

You said he will pay off people cause he has money and then said he's done it before. Show me where he has done it before.

Patty Kane had money and he could have paid off his accuser but that didn't happen either.

You have so much to learn and one of those things is exaggeration.

Okay this is where I need to stop you kid. You're making assumptions here. When has he ever given money to shut someone up?

Find me an example of this...I'll wait.

Again with the exaggeration.

Also pretty sure Shady didn't pay anyone off.

He is not a great skater.

He is an okay skater.

He isn't Mike Weber but he isn't PK Subban either.

- Stripes77

He's pretty damn close to one

The concept of the trade was fine. He just gave up too much to move up 4 spots and take on a contract.
