I wasnt a fan of the idea of bringing him here.
But the accusations can be harmful, even if one is cleared afterwords.
I know the guy is a player, but there have been others.
I really wish there were better laws against just accusing someone of anything in order to associate yourself with a celebrity.
Again, Derek Roy has a "reputation" but was never in the news like this. Is it because Roy was white? Who knows?

I 2nd this. I had hoped maybe we'd get him with Fowler if we did that deal. He was hurt for their playoff run but they gave up like a 5th at the deadline for him.

This would be fair, if other black hockey players were targeted here, or even football players for that matter, who are predominantly black, but they are not. Only Evander Kane is the one seemingly in the news on the wrong end of things.
