Lindros was a freak of nature... a big man who not only played physical (probably to a fault), but he also could skate as fast as anyone, had as hard/accurate a shot as anyone, and could see the ice extremely well, setting up plays for teammates as a result. Yes to HOF for him, IMO.

absolutely ridiculous. it doesn't matter if they had great teams in front of them. the numbers they put up plus the longevity of their careers speak for themselves. Also, hockey is a team sport and not every elite player wins a cup ex. Cam Neely.
there have also been some horse sh!t hockey players to win the cup. CuJo and Osgood both deserve to be in, their numbers are among the all-time elite.

Their numbers are no where near elite. They were good but not great. HOF is about the indivdual so this whole team argument is dumb imo. He's on the stanley cup there's your team award. |

Does anyone else find it funny that Eklund consistently ends all of his blogs recently with: "Thats it for now - but, i will be back later with more" Or "i will have more later this afternoon as the rumors are heating up" or something to that effect.
Yet - he never reposts anything on those days or gives any update later on. such a tease. |
