Theres a captain.

And if you get out of line he'll (frank) up the roof of your mouth.

So.......

Do people still think Stroman is the ace?
He had a better outing...but its time to send him down for a stint

- Fakepartofme

Estrada is our ace.. Stroman is too (frank)ing cocky and he looks like a douch out there..

there is no need to respect the toronto media. Simply garbage for the most part.
The media never liked Kessel cause he simply didnt care to chat with them....wasnt his style.
Which was great.....screw the media.

Well if you disrespect anyone you work with, live with, associate with everyday because theres no need to treat them with respect, I wish you good luck.

Their incompetence was further displayed at the draft when they lost (and it became public) their draft strategy.

IMO, if the Leafs want Stamkos they will need to present a credible offer on money, term, team prospects, coach, etc. He won't come here just to play for his home town team. It will help but won't be the deciding factor. What's exciting is the Leafs can be credible on all those points.

So if the leafs sign stamkos......how do we pay for D?

There are well documented problems created by Tampa. Stamkos is a starting center on team Canada - he is an elite center. The coach employed him on wing and limited his ice time. As good as Tampa is, that did not sit well with Stamkos. The management team did not handle his contract in the sharpest manner, offered a low-ball contract that was leaked and turned down. Their incompetence was further displayed at the draft when they lost (and it became public) their draft strategy.
- winsix

lol..

while i agree with the first two points..

the draft "playbook" incident im sure has no bearing on Stamkos in TB.. That was a big (frank)up tho.. I think how they treated past star players might be weighing on Stamkos mind a bit tho.

Exactly what the media did to Kessel.
They thought they were above him and could do or say whatever they wanted to him or any leaf.

Besides, giving short answer to stupid questions is not being disrespectful.

Some questions on ELCs:

Marner signed one last summer. Did he get paid? Did last year count, or does the 3 years only start when he plays pro hockey?

Which has nothing to do with what is going on now.

People have figured him out....he needs to make some slight changes.

He's had 8 starts to figure it out.
He improved a bit yesterday...but it may be time for stint in barffalo over the break.
Bring up Hutchinson.

Besides, the majors are not the league you try to figure things out in....thats the minors.
Jays dont have time for guaranteed losses right now.

Any media coverage?

It was all mental for him.

Lupul, Robidas, Bernier?
True, but you have to save money for pay raises too.
