I do, I would if I was him. I think he teaches stevie Y a lesson by dragging it out this long. He gets an extra year, better taxes, and the best shot of winning a cup in the next few years.

Bishop gers moved or lost in the expansion draft, and they are fine with the cap. It will be tight, but they can manage staying under.

- Mentalorgasm5

Who wants to tell him...
.
Edit: Im the idiot. I got a notification on my phone that Bishop went to Calgary and didn't look more into it. What happened?

How often do Buffalo fans get hardons for stealing the Av's thunder?
- Feeling Glucky?

That was actually him quoting an article written by someone in like New Jersey I think. He explained that in the comments but it was obviously lost. He wasn't actually saying it.. he was more so mocking that writer for being Garth like. Pachla is actually a very in depth and down to earth writer. He doesn't throw out crazy trade scenarios like Garth or call some kid who has never played an NHL game Gretzky like.

Garth gives the Sabres fans SUCH a BAD BAD name... it is miserable. It is like being a red heading step child with toilet paper to our shoe. We try to be normal but one bad apple gives us all a target on our backs.

Dude you have a hard time between comprehending what was actually said and what you wish was said to give you more fuel to burn.

Honestly... you are kind of a black eye on Leafs fans. Everyone else in this thread is being more than fine chatting. You are just being a jerk. Truth is the truth man.

- JVince11

yeah man.. you're right dude..

you're all just enjoying your days chatting like buds and im just poopting on everything.

It really is shaping up to be something:

Eichel v. Matthews
Nylander v. Nylander
MiB v. Kadri

Oh course, it's Buffalo, not Toronto. I'm 30, I can't recall a big name free agent ever signing in Toronto.

Babcock is the most recent.

Checkmate.

Now (frank) off.

And don't come back here until you've changed that obnoxious avatar.

It was reported by the Wild beat writer Russo that our GM Tim Murray reached out to the Wild about Brodin or Scandella. Their GM said they'd only move them if Reinhart was going the opposite direction.

.... dial tone.....

prices are HUGE.

It reminds me of every year, teams always saying that the #1 pick could be in play if the offer is something that helps the team.

Which means, the offers have to be ridiculous and make no sense for the team making the offer.

The NHL trade market is boring.

yea. Like we traded for Kulikov because Anaheim wanted #8 for Fowler. They also wanted #3 for Fowler from EDM one of them said too. I think they told Montreal #9.

Nuts stuff.

Oh good, you're the first Sabres fan I've come across who doesn't think the Leafs tanked.

but yeah... the blue jackets are a mess right now

apart from Jones (for obvious reasons) which of the CBJ defensemen might be attractive to the Leafs?

Might be me but I would slow down on matthews a bit. It is most probable the kid comes to the show and struggles at times on a basement team and scores 40-50 pts.

Nylander is interesting. He put up decent numbers in limited time at the NHL level, and dominated the AHL. He will either continue to excel or his small frame will be put in place, similarly to the WJC.

I am not 100% on marners status and where he can play next season, but i imagine him in the OHL for one more season. He needs to get stronger, does not play a mans game. Someone mentioned him putting up mcdavid like numbers.. he is not mcdavid. Not even close.

I think toronto has a legit shot at stamkos, but it will not be the roster or young players that tips the scale in their favor. If that is all it takes and salary is equal, i give the edge to buffalo.

I really dislike this assertion. I don't care if he had twenty more pounds on him or two more inches of height. If you take a blindside elbow to the head, it's going to take you out.

Marner is going to feed Stammer so many one-timers, it'll give him blood clots

finished last the NHL... and took the tanktastic after Bernier killed the team at the start of the season.

what I really like to know is how much better Bylsma is than Babcock... because you know ... Buffalo.

The people that believed Babcock could raise this team from the grave in one season are akin to the people that thought Eichel makes Buffalo a playoff contender and the same about McDavid and Edmonton.

There should be a rule...

if you know your team tanked you should not be allowed to make fun of other teams for tanking.

guys think Alex Nylander makes the team next yr?
- MCharisma91

He (Alex) was hoping to go play with his Dad next season. That's what I heard during the draft anyway.

Fair point. I still stand behind my argument.
