Very little actual hockey talk occurs between fan bases here, or within a fan base for that matter.

Well between TO and BUF yes...

If he has to be on blood thinners for the rest of his life... it is serious. Kumadin is the most common.

If it was an issue that the surgery dissipated then it was situational blood clots and not as big of a deal.

I don't know the answer to which. I was very worried about them as well though.

The bolded is true. 100%. There was an article on it not long ago

I could be wrong on this but isn't it pretty well known that Stamkos wants to play C? How does that work with ROR and Eichel? That just doesn't add up unless one of the 3 becomes a W.

I think it's pretty clear that ROR is the #3 in this situation. That would be a pretty (frank)ing sweet problem. Fortunately it's not going to happen.

It really is shaping up to be something:

Eichel v. Matthews
Nylander v. Nylander
Garth v. Kadri

- 1979AD

On the bright side, we can use W Nylander to poison Buffalo players' meals even easier now.

Because you hockey talk was not "hockey" talk at all... it was simply you trying to slander in terms of city composition and other meaningless comparison.

If you want to talk actual hockey.. then we are all for it... there is no place for "my city is better than your city" and snarly comments like you were making.

We love guys from other teams coming in. We talk with AVs DDM Coga almost every day like he is one of us.

You approached it wrong.

- JVince11

Toronto is a far better city than Buffalo..

You guys have to at least admit that.. that was my point.. if money was the same and he had to choose between the two, why wouldnt he pick Toronto?

Try offering up an honest opinion in the Hawks or Canucks thread some time.

Talent wise, I really feel neither Toronto or Buffalo has an advantage on each other. If stamkos signs with eaither, which I don't think he will, that team easily pulls away.

Still waiting for all these "big deals".

When I hear the asking price for a Shattenkirk, it just makes me realize that there is nothing really there as far as big deals.

Yes that is anothe rproblem we have. ROR wanted out of COL because he wanted to stay focused and play C. Stamkos is the same. We moved Reinhart to RW from C even though the longer term plan could be to move him back.

Most would not want to move Eichel to a wing. Most fans think moving ROR to RW would solve the probelm but I don't like it. I think ROR would feel "less wanted" which was another big thing. He never felt like he was wanted or a "big piece" in Colorado. He is also one of the best FO win guys in the entire NHL.

If we get him.. it'll be Blysma's job to figure it out not mine. He did put Malkin on Crosby's wing sometimes in PIT.

I don't. I think he goes to the AHL. He could go back to Sweden or the CHL as well. AHL would be best case scenario in my opinion since so many of our kids will be there too. Guhle, Karacabek, Carrier, Fasching, Baptiste, Bailey, Olofsson, etc. Rochester could be pretty good this year IMO.

Nylander needs more muscle on his frame. He has the speed and agility with shooting to play in the NHL but his body wouldn't hold up over 82.

It was reported by the Wild beat writer Russo that our GM Tim Murray reached out to the Wild about Brodin or Scandella. Their GM said they'd only move them if Reinhart was going the opposite direction.

.... dial tone.....

prices are HUGE.

Dude you have a hard time between comprehending what was actually said and what you wish was said to give you more fuel to burn.

Honestly... you are kind of a black eye on Leafs fans. Everyone else in this thread is being more than fine chatting. You are just being a jerk. Truth is the truth man.

I do, I would if I was him. I think he teaches stevie Y a lesson by dragging it out this long. He gets an extra year, better taxes, and the best shot of winning a cup in the next few years.

Bishop gers moved or lost in the expansion draft, and they are fine with the cap. It will be tight, but they can manage staying under.

I would be shocked if he makes the team next year. Anything under two years would he a surprise.
