Oh course, it's Buffalo, not Toronto. I'm 30, I can't recall a big name free agent ever signing in Toronto.

HAHA...

Of course.. the one that is TML property will be the best.. and the one that is Buffalo's will be the worst. Figures.

Most analysts have said that Nylander was the best and most complete skater in the entire draft and that his game doesn't have a glaring hole in it. He is a little slim for the nHL currently but will be a hell of a player. Most analysts also have said that Alexander is better than William Nylander as well.

THIS IS MY QUESTION!!! I still want this answer.

What BIG UFA name has ever signed in Toronto!!??

David Clarkson is about all I got.... Who else?

Oh oh... what about Mikhail Grabovski?

- JVince11

so how far back in time do all your questions go??

they never seem to be relevant to todays time.

Did your own team's thread get too boring or irrelevant? It happens. The key is how you you deal with it.

To paraphrase: "That's hilarious you think the top rated prospect is going to be the best because he's on your favorite team. My teams new prospect is better because he's on my favorite team, idiots!"

Ok...I'm not sure Buffalo is the hockey heaven you are making it out to be.

Regardless, I would say Toronto has a similar track record to Buffalo in recent memory when it comes to attracting big name free agents.

To be honest I would prefer Buffalo massively overpay Stamkos as opposed to the Leafs, so I won't cry if the Sabres sign him.

Nylander is a very good prospect, I would have been thrilled to have him on the Habs considering our lack of offense.

But I'm glad we got Sergachev in the end... I think he was the best d-man in this draft.

No. Nylander is more raw. His game is there just not as "ready" as Matthews. That's all.
- JVince11

They're in totally different categories man.
