Now I'm no doctor... but doesn't Stamkos blood cloth problems worry any of you? As far as I understand it, it's a very tricky thing to manage healthwise and some players had to retire early because of it.

I feel like it's a risk that lowers Stamkos's value, wherever he ends up, no?

This management really doesn't leave any stone unturned. You have to like a group that seems to be on top of things

I agree.

I was hoping the Habs wouldn't draft him, glad he was gone before they ended up with Sergachev.

I think the consensus is that, if a team is willing to sign him to the big bucks and term, they believe it is not a big issue.

It seems a little scary to me though.

Sergachev is probably going to be better than Joulevi too..

I think itll pan out like this in a couple years.

Matthews
Puljujarvi
Laine
Nylander
Tkatchuk
Dubois
Sergachev..

like when a team thinks they are an attractive market for free agents?

- Arctic_AARDVARK

Name the last 4 big UFA's that have chosen to sign in Toronto over another city??

We all know about David Clarkson... that went well. I'll wait and listen.

Yes.

I am not convinced by any means because who the hell knows what will happen.

I definitely think there is a chance.

Oh course, it's Buffalo, not Toronto. I'm 30, I can't recall a big name free agent ever signing in Toronto.

HAHA...

Of course.. the one that is TML property will be the best.. and the one that is Buffalo's will be the worst. Figures.

Most analysts have said that Nylander was the best and most complete skater in the entire draft and that his game doesn't have a glaring hole in it. He is a little slim for the nHL currently but will be a hell of a player. Most analysts also have said that Alexander is better than William Nylander as well.

Oh

So by this logic you'd have taken Nylander over Matthews?

No. Nylander is more raw. His game is there just not as "ready" as Matthews. That's all.

Yeah I think most people would guess Matthews.

My ranking of Nylander had nothing to do with Buffalo. I forgot they even took him.

If you are going to get butt hurt over the wild guesses of some random guy on Hockeybuzz, maybe you should start hanging out on Pinterest instead.
