Oh, well then. Welcome. So what's the AAV you predict Murray will get Stamkos down to?

BTW - you're not really that upset that the drunken aardvark posted in the Sabres thread, are you? I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt that you're going for satire.

To be fair we were pretty critical of Gretzorenko and that has clearly come back to bite us in the ass.

Can we just clear up the blood-clot thing (AGAIN) please?

Stamkos' issue was due to compression of a blood vessel from one of his ribs, which was removed.

It's not the same as Dupuis or Fleischmann's issues.

C'mon guys, we all knew this already.

Didn't Letang have the same thing? Or was his a mini stroke? I can't remember.

I am actually one of the few that does not want us to go above like 10.5 or 11M. He is a once in a life time UFA but the league's way of play will not make him a 45 or even 50 goal scorer again. I also don't know how much better he is than the likes of Kane, Toews, Ovechkin, Crosby, Malkin, Kopi, and soon to be high paid Benn. He is worth that much for that long? I don't know.

If we sign him... Great... I'll be stoked. But I still think Buffalo will be a highly competitive team in the near future by adding other pieces and with the youth we have.

So it's more like Bosh's problem in the NBA? Because from what I read it's not like treating his problem wasn't risky either....

As I said, I don't know enough about it to say if it's a problem or not but I'd be worried.

Because you hockey talk was not "hockey" talk at all... it was simply you trying to slander in terms of city composition and other meaningless comparison.

If you want to talk actual hockey.. then we are all for it... there is no place for "my city is better than your city" and snarly comments like you were making.

We love guys from other teams coming in. We talk with AVs DDM Coga almost every day like he is one of us.

You approached it wrong.

Well I mean it's not like you guys were going to get both.

It just mean that our rivalry was going to go to new levels. I was hoping for him the whole time. I just love it that he is AHL ready immediately because he played overseas and was "loaned" to the CHL. That means he can get his tryout and do wahtever else we please.

Name the last 4 big UFA's that have chosen to sign in Toronto over another city??

We all know about David Clarkson... that went well. I'll wait and listen.

- JVince11

Well, there's the coach that took less money than Buffalo offered to come here.

I have to think that any team willing to invest north of 70m on a player would have to have multiple medical opinions that there's virtually no future risk involved, Benning's Canucks notwithstanding.

Very little actual hockey talk occurs between fan bases here, or within a fan base for that matter.

If he has to be on blood thinners for the rest of his life... it is serious. Kumadin is the most common.

If it was an issue that the surgery dissipated then it was situational blood clots and not as big of a deal.

I don't know the answer to which. I was very worried about them as well though.

It really is shaping up to be something:

So you weren't trolling?

Go read our thread, he was trolling all over.

I could be wrong on this but isn't it pretty well known that Stamkos wants to play C? How does that work with ROR and Eichel? That just doesn't add up unless one of the 3 becomes a W.
