I love the idea of getting Boedker, kid has a good overall game. Great skater, good on the pk, pretty stocky, underrated passer as well.... If I'm not mistaken he might even play the point in the pp a bit

Boedker is only 26..... He'll still be in his prime in 6 years.... I hope our rebuild doesn't take longer then that

Problem is he's so injury prone and really I'm more for having a cheap 4th line with fast youngsters who should provide the energy. Maybe it's Gran under depending on free agency but look at how much Pitt's 4th line cost them. Young and cheap.

I'm still more inclined to go for Mcginn than most of the others because he might be a cheaper for someone who can play from 1st line to 3rd

Id like Boedker quite a bit Sign 2 free agents and training camp is interesting. Virtanen, Rodin, Etem, Gaunce, 2 free agents, Hansen, Dorsett, Granlund, Burrows all competing for spots will be what they need.

I feel a bit of optimism with the roster turnover and young developing players in the lineup compared to a couple summers ago.

Jost was a great pick. Thought COL needed D. But, with Juolevi and Sergachev gone, Jost was the best option. Jankowski was a Flames high school pick i believe.

I like Beodker but not Helm. There is already a logjam in the bottom 6. Ideally I want Benning to sign 2 of Eriksson, Lucic, Boedker, Brower, Ladd to play with Sutter. Highly unlikely though. We might get one of thoes guys. Of course there is always Stamkos and Backes as well.

I'm not a fan of Lucic, but he does bring an element to the team that they sorely lack. If they were to sign him you are getting a 20-25 power forward (that is starting to decline) that wont let anyone take liberties with the rest of the roster. The problem is you are going to get 2-3 meltdowns a year that will cost the team.
