Ya just the way i typed it out. added players, deleted them. end result. As for the D - I just went by pairs.

I'm sorry for your pain and suffering. I hope you will be able to move on from this.

Clearly you aren't part of the grammar police.

To be fair, only the third line is out of whack... And all the d just need to be flipped.

I think they need 2 top 6 forwards. One that can score and one that can create space and play the body. I'd say they need to find 2 players capable of 35-40 goals between them and about 200 hits.

ONE of Lucic or McGinn and ONE of Okposo or Eriksson.

Okposo and McGinn would be my favorites.

Eriksson makes me nervous because of his injury history. Last thing we need is to pay big money and term to a guy that could be problematic in that area. He is also the oldest of those 4. No thanks to Brouwer for me. He is solid player but I think he will be asking for as much as the rest of them.

I would also be cool with signing Brandon Pirri. I think he is getting close to breaking out. Good young forward to fit in the middle 6. Could be cheap too.

My prediction is 2 UFA's. 1 we expect and a surprise pick.
1. Erikson is my prediction. The finesse pick to play with Sedins or spread the scoring out.
2. A big body. someone unexpected like Downie, Stewart or McGin.
edit i would prefer Lucic, Okposo or Brouwer (in that order), but i doubt we have the ability to snag 2 top UFAs.

What I wonder about with Lucic is his speed. I thought he was known to be good on the fore check, but is he fast enough to counter balance the Sedins?

can't expect Hansen speed but I don't want that line to be glacial.

Base jumper dies in Squamish after parachute fails to open. I guess that answers my wife's question. Not sure if he died of a heart attack or impact though
- VANTEL

Fun Fact

you actually don't see the impact once you reach terminal velocity. The "movie" you see through your eyes ends at 2 meters. Its the difference between the speed you are traveling and the processing time your brain needs as the light enters your eyes

I'm thinking I have a heart attack before then as I am the type of person who shows up early for appointments and hates being late...

Some have said he's slow, but i think that's a bit of an exageration.
I can't see him on a line with the Sedin's anyways.
See him on the 2nd or 3rd line and PP.

yep, I was thinking second line and 1st pp, but maybe 2nd pp if he doesn't play well with the Sedins. it might take some time to develop chemistry.

Agree on Brouwer. So, you sign 2 players of significance. How do you work the expansion draft list now?

The Canucks will have issues protecting F's if they sign 2 good UFA's. Even more if Rodin sticks.

- storm88

I think it can't be helped either way. The way it stand now we can't protect everyone anyways. On the plus side, they can only take 1 of our players.

I've always thought that speed plays better with speed. Guys that like to cycle play better together. Thought it to be odd that Hansen does so well with the Sedins.

I haven't heard anything but has Pratt and the rest of the bumbling tools gone off about the draft yet? Or is it mass hysteria tomorrow?

I was in Helsinki for the WJC. I went to several of Finland's games, including the final.
Worst player on the ice was Juolevi. He was burned on three Russian breakouts that turned into breakaways when they went around him. They scored on two. In overtime, he was starting, I could not believe it, 4 on 4 and they were starting the slow footed Juolevi. sure enough he got burned again. If not for Fin24 it wouldn't have lasted more than one or two of Juolevi's shifts. He is sure to be a decent 3 to 6 but never a 1 or 2.
3 to 6 you get in the second or third round, not the first!

I think they will go off on the tampering stuff more than the picks unless they want to b!tch about the lack of picks...

they have that motto, "seize the hysteria..." and Pratt rants every day.

I only would have said that had they drafted Tkachuk.
