I'm sure I will called dumb for this but am I the only one who thinks it a good idea to bring back David Warsofsky as a 7th/8th Dman? I thought he did well last year even though he is small he fits the Pens style of play. I think if he becomes a UFA he could be a cheap depth option for them.

If you can get him on a deal where he doesn't count against our cap when in WBS, nothing wrong with basically free depth.

Complaining about the potential ceiling of a third round draft pick seems petty to me... Most third round picks don't turn into much anyway. Maybe cause I'm old but I feel like we should be enjoying the fact that we are the Champions and our roster will be in tack for next year... Look at past winners... They have had to remake rosters due to bad contracts (which we have one, Scuderi) and rob Peter to pay Paul which doesn't make sense either... We're really in fantastic shape.

If the kid wants to win Cups and play with two of the top 5 centres in the world then Pittsburgh has to be an option. But who knows what this kid wants.

100% agree. This type of worrying last year would have been the way that everyone feels but now. The Cup is in the Burgh!

My personal opinion is that I'd rather not have to root for legitimately terrible human beings. The Hawks train for a week at Notre Dame every preseason, and I've heard enough anecdotal stories about Patrick Kane's extracurriculars in South Bend that the tales of his scumbaggery aren't overblown.

Patrick Kane is fine by me. Actually kind of normal in my opinion. So the kid likes to party some gets blacked out and does some stupid things. Because he's a celebrity it's a big deal. I've done the same things he's done.

Unless we have a legit back up plan at LW, Kunitz shouldn't be trade. Yakupov is a RW.

vesey is not after money. he wants to play for a good team where he gets a chance at major playing time. the front runner for vesey is boston and the single and only reason why is because boston bruins is vesey's childhood team and it is his dream to play for them.
