aside from 2 teams from each group making it to the knockout stage... the 4 best "3rd place" teams make it. Reason why Portugal went through, along with Slovakia, Northern Ireland, and Rep of Ireland.

Marner only has 2 places to go next year... either back to the O or to the Leafs. Pretty sure he will be on the team next year. Well, unless they send him overseas to play? I'm not sure they'd do that with him though. Wouldn't mind seeing him on the wing with Stamkos

Wonder what Shanny and the crew are thinking about him? They have to at least be worried about putting him in there with his size and all. I've moved on with players having to be domi's, but he does seem a little small. Then again, I don't have a (frank)ing clue on how to run a hockey team.
