Facking Chicago had as many picks as we did today. Asset management: turn their non-core guys into picks every year, don't rush them, and bring them up for cheap filler; rinse/repeat.

having guys ready a bit sooner than later could be the strategy here

the leafs have a lot of young prospects that could turn into players on lucrative deals in a few years

instead of allowing themselves to get into a cap crunch situation they stockpile good young talent that could be developed into depth roles on cheap contracts.

My fav chain pizza is a stuffed crust from Pizza Hut. But you have to go and pick it up. The ghetto joint that online orders go to always takes an hour+ and once it shows up it's this (frank)ing dry ass cardboard poop.

My Pizza Hut doesn't realize that pizza is supposed to come with cheese.

They weren't supposed to play in the NHL last year. But they did quite well with their respective Junior clubs (Marner, Timoshov, Dermott, etc.), so for that, he has to get some kudos no?

Some of the leaf fans need to geta reality check here... There is a plan in place! We took still last year and we took size with skating ability this year. Not a single one of you knows more then Hunter and Co. I trust in their choices because in the last 2 years they have made me believe that this is going to get better!

Stop bashing everything and just sit back and enjoy this work of magic people.

I for one also liked the trade today too! Harrington was potentially going to get claimed of waivers anyways.

I trust what this management does. 3 years ago they drafted college players that will take min 4 years to make the nhl. The last draft they drafted skill and projects and this year they drafted some players they feel are close to getting ready. They have a plan with drafting while many other teams dont seem to...

True but domino's crust is like bisquix...I mean they're both bad. Whichever one is offering six pounds of cheese and poopty pizza for less money is probably the best option at any given time.
