Both drafts involve drafting players that are totally unproven to play/perform at the next level. The ability to see something that makes one think the next step will be successful.Hunter has proven that at the first level(OHL) no reason to think he couldn't do the same at NHL draft level..


Time will tell..He certainly seems to have been successful in last summer draft..

They weren't supposed to play in the NHL last year. But they did quite well with their respective Junior clubs (Marner, Timoshov, Dermott, etc.), so for that, he has to get some kudos no?

So a guy that scouts for midget hockey could step in and be a good NHL scout? Where do we draw the line and why?

Problem here is that there's not one place that knocks it out of the park. Take bbq for instance, there's this place that I can't understand a (frank)ing word when I go in. But that bbq is on point! Sticky and crispy...(frank). Duck too. But one joint has legit dumplings.
