If you look at previous draft years, outside of the top picks, the names that stand out years after the fact are all over the place. I notice more than one team went off the board. I don't know why people treat the pre-draft rankings like they're accurate. I assume NHL teams go off the board because they spend a lot more time, money and personnel watching prospects than TSN does.

I'm at the point where I really don't care if Stamkos comes to Toronto. It'd be friggin' sweet. But I think what would be even more sweet is the pissy whine fest blog we'd get right after he signs anywhere but Buffalo. Man, and if he signs for less money???? SO AWESOME
