I haven't had time to fully digest the draft yet.
A lot of Wtf picks at first glance.. And a very different strategy from last year draft also it looks like.

Two things I noticed was that our first 3 picks played against men last year... and we picked 3 dmen 6'3+

If you look at previous draft years, outside of the top picks, the names that stand out years after the fact are all over the place. I notice more than one team went off the board. I don't know why people treat the pre-draft rankings like they're accurate. I assume NHL teams go off the board because they spend a lot more time, money and personnel watching prospects than TSN does.

Agreed. They obviously saw something that others didn't and it seems to be working out well, which is why I'm not too concerned. They've done well enough to earn some leeway
