I think today's strategy was all about restocking the Marlies, while the next wave of junior talent progresses, and gets aged out of the CHL.

Keeping Harrington wouldn't have helped since he'd likely get claimed if they tried sending him down... But hey, if the Leafs don't like the top-6 they have going into next season, they can always claim him, and have this trade wind up being Rychel for a 5th
