I don't think the overage factor is an issue. Lots of these guys will be ready to play soon and all but two are eligible to play in the AHL if need be. I think the Leafs are drafting for depth at this point - after getting mathews (following a strong draft last season) and have key skilled components in place. I think it was a decent draft, we'll see.

Nice trade. Don't think Rychel will ever put up many points but could be a useful bottom 6 guy. And Harrington was a nothing at this point as far as i'm concerned.

Only 7 goals in 54 AHL games last year. Doubt we see much offense out of him but could be a useful player. Which is more than I could say for Harrington.
