Jeez it was bad enough Brower smacked around the Hawks in the playoffs and thats when we hadLadd and Shaw can we please add some toughness. I loved that 2010 team had it all. This iis the easiest Hawk team I can remember to play against |

Bowman hasn't had this many draft picks in a few years and clearly forgot what he's doing. I like Debrinket but the other picks today are HIGHLY questionable, IMO. |

Hartman has some big shoes to fill and if he's trying to live up to Shaw's presence, I fear he'll get out of control and be a PIM machine. - TyCamScore
Q is going to have to reign in Hartman much like he did Shaw. We'll see how that goes. One thing that would help is if Hartman would stop diving, and chirping the refs all game long. |

He's probably a bit entitled as a former 1st rounder and top player in the AHL. He won't last long under Q if he's taking unsportsmanlike penalties. I think he will be an effective 4tine grinder the year with the big club. |

NOT even close to a Bowman fan at all, but you can't blame him (or credit him) for this draft all on his own. He doesn't scout these guys. He probably couldn't even tell you much about them....the Hawks scouting department and personal people are who help with these decisions.
In my mind, the draft is usually an organizational call and as with ANY draft we won't know jack about this draft for 3 years. |

The team definitely needs some malevolence. Need a gritty and fast 1LW and another guy to stabilize the bottom 6. Sign Martin and McGinn and fill in whatever spots with a rookie or two.
McGinn/Ladd-Toews-Hossa
Panarin-Anisimov-Kane
Panik-Kruger-Martin
Desi-Rasmussen-Lundberg
Man the loss of Shaw's versatility is going to sting. |

Debrinket is a really skilled player and you can't pass on a1st round talent at 39. The Rusky and the goalie picks are completely out of left field...I hope they work out but I was really hoping for a Dman to develop with one of those picks... |

I wouldn't call Hartman "entitled." Rather, he plays a role that agitates, which can create some of the bad habits he has. |

With the ref chirping I mean. It appears that he has some "RAGE" in him, which is something that will be a welcome addition to the club...if he can keep it controlled.... |

Moving down 15 picks for a 6th the following year. Is that worth it? Seems like someone must have gotten a player the hawks were planning on taking at 95.
Guy isles took was a goal scorer but only 5-9 so they'd gotten shot here for taking that guy. Of course he gets coverage on TV for his goal scoring potential. |

The high hopes I had coming into this draft have that taking on water feeling. The roster still has major holes, the attempt to trade CC yesterday fell apart, we lost Shaw.. The team is weaker now. |
