We passed on Provorov last year, we passed on Local prospects Carlson and Palmieri for Josefsen and Tedenby. Nothing is surprising for NJ first rounds. Thank Christ we are pretty strong in the 2nd and third round.

Provorov would have been an awesome pick but zacha will be a complete first line player. Maybe not elite, but he was the right choice in my opinion.

Haha funny you should say that. I have called them out here numerous times for that very reason. I go to games in the first half, could sit maybe 15 rows off ice for 50$ tops because no one "feels like going in November".

Should've seen half my FB all season long people bad mouthing Drouin. Wanting him gone. All angry when they let him back up into the top line. Then he lights it up one night and everyone is in love.

Yeah no beef with zacha. He will be a solid devil. And Devils draft good Czechs. But I'm just so hung up on that 6"6 factor. The Devils have never been big in the middle and ya have to to be able to compete against the west were in for a long one boys.

So I'm ready to be disappointed, but if Ray doesn't move the 2nd for a forward from a cap strapped team like Palmieiri last year, I'm pulling for Benson/ Debrincat tomorrow.

First time it happened the place erupted in boos and the typical Tampa 'bros' lunging up yelling at the refs as to why the whistle blew. I couldn't stop laughing. Cheap tickets though man. I see the Devils twice this year for the price of a video game.

I have friends in NC and always make it to a Devils/ Canes game once a year. Every time a Cane gets hit there are people screaming charging, and they boo every single offsides no matter how blatant.

Haven't made it to one down there yet. However, I wanna say for the last five rows of the 3rd tier here, season tickets come to around 340$ a person. Those seats aren't even bad at all. Amalie is an awesome arena. Just hilarious when my friends say oh well look at our attendance! Yeah no kidding, it's cheaper to get in than a club down the street..

The problem is though, is that Teravainen was the Palmieri trade of this year, a 2nd and 3rd is what it would of taken. Nothing they do tomorrow or free agency will make up for them not getting a 21 year old guy who had more points in his first full year, then Palmieri did every year he was in the league or for picking Mccleod.

Another pointless offseason.

I didn't hate the Zacha pick. I make no secret that I wanted Provorov, but Zacha has a lot of offensive upside. This pick just made no sense whatsoever.

You knock armchair GMs, but how has our real team done in the first round over the past 15 or so years?
