I don't care if Detroit Signs Stamkos or uses the money saved to hire Ninjas, Arizona did awesome on that move. They are a basement team adding Dvorak this year to their list of young players. They have to cross the cap floor and they did with a guy that can play (if he doesn't decide to go to Russia). Regardless of that they moved up high enough to draft what many scouts ranked the top defender. Jakob Chychrun fell out of the top 10 and into the late teens. The 6'2 205lb defender that had a great year and playoffs with Sarnia. He is a defensive minded forward that is just shy of a point per game. I say win for Arizona for sure.

Jets did good too on their move up. Arguably costly but a 6'7 225 lb defender that plays a physical game is a great addition late teens. He may never turn into a top tier defense man but they know what they are getting. A strong role player that can clear the front of the net with ease.
