I honestly think Sergachev is the better defenseman, I've read multiple breakdowns of their playing styles and their underlying stats, add in that juolevi was playing on an all star junior team and i think Sergachev would make for a better choice for us

By the way I'm not saying Juolevi is a bad player or that he wouldn't be a good player for us. I just think Sergachev is a superior choice.

I hear that as a knock and I wonder if it is fair to call it a knock? with the other side of the argument with Sergachev is can he be as productive with better players, distribute as well or does he have to be the focal point?

Oh yeah I don't think it's fair to chalk a players great performance to his teammates but I'm just saying it COULD be a factor and given that the stats already favour Sergachev there's no reason to take the small risk on Juolevi knowing he might have looked better because of his team.

meh, while not my first choice I don't think it would be that big of a deal. As with every year it is very difficult to predict how these players turn out in a few years.

Keller and Brown are both very interesting but also much riskier at 5 IMO.
