People were screaming last year too when we drafted Boeser.
Our D is a lot better today than it was 2 months ago.

For sure...this team is starved for goal scoring and that's why folks are disappointed. I was extremely excited for Dubois...tough day. That being said, Juolevi could be a number one D. He is young and light and still tore up the WJC and OHL. Great skater and exceptionally smart |

Thanks to the Gudbranson trade. Tkatchuk was almost a 2ppg player in the ohl that plays a hard hitting power forward game... Jost beat mcdavid's record internationally at the same age. Those will be the two best players of the draft. Boeser is good but will not help us for another 2 years(which isn't a bad thing). I see the Russian Guy as better offensively than OJ and Chychrun as better all around. I'll be pleasently surprised if the kid makes the show as anything more than a 3rd pairing guy. |

I would imagine JB has an eye on a potential sniper in one of the later rounds. I trust him to do well yet again in rounds 3-7 |

ummm no
Way too many questions. He reminds me of Griffin reinhart, he doesn't process the game quick enough. That's why he dropped like a rock

Most scouts and experts had him ranked as the top Dman . I would have liked Sergachev but that's my opinion. When that many pros had him ranked as the best who are we to judge.
We have been talking for years we need a top Dman. Well you just got one. |

Ya that Mathews is a bust and Laine is soooi over hyped, who cares if he resembles the best goalscorer ever in the NHL/the layer who just took 3rd overall in points in the league....

Please keep it on hockey discussion. We don't criticize every one of you're uninformed posts. I'll admit Edler is highly skilled but his hockey sense is awful. I played with guys in junior B that made better puck decisions than him. |

We might of, at the end of the day Benning looks to be drafting well, but those same pros who were calling him the best in the draft were also comparing him to some good not great and certainly not elite Defense. Who knows though, I personally think today is a victory because we didn't trade our first for Lucia's rights

Didn't say they were busts, just that there was 2 great gems left, I'll expect an apology 5 years down the road. I also said Hodgson was overrated back when he was drafted, but that was before your time here and I was probably wrong about that too. |

I compare him to Tanev. You like Tanev so I think it is a safe bet and by the time Edler moves on we have his replqacement |

I too liked what Sergachev brought on the offensive side of the puck. Perhaps OJ is the most NHL ready. We will have to see. I just didn't see him as better than Tkatchuk if I'm wrong 5 years down the road I'll admit it. |
