It's ok. I watched Juolevi closely at Mem Cup he will be a stud for us. The knock on Tkachuk is that he has skating issues…maybe it was on Benning's mind. But I'm ok with a Dman sorely needed.

Well Benning stuck to his word about picking a Dman. He wouldn't pick Juolevi if he didn't think he had a chance to be a #1. I'm glad we have a high profile Dman finally and can shift our focus next year to forwards where there will be more choices available

True we have plenty of forwards right now and I am not a fan of BPA (to a point) so this is ok. Filling needs.

The general consensus when I was working Mem Cup was that EDM was looking HARD at Juolevi. But when Dubois goes third it changes the structure and strategy of the draft. EDM can't pass on Pool-jarvi so IMO I think we got lucky getting Juolevi.

he said one of the guys he had at 5 could be a #1d. i'll give him the benefit of the doubt based on his drafting. i'm excited b/c this was a true rebuilding pick.
