It'll cost Edmonton next year when he's a UFA but I think it's a decent deal for both. - allsports
I have heard he wants to go out east after contract is up. If true, they would only get 1 year of him. But if he resigned, would be less than Subban |

Shattenkirk for Nugent Hopkins - allsports
Good for both, but wasn't sure if you meant Ebelre/Hall. I think Eberle or RNH I'd do if if Im chiarelli, not Hall. |

Source: #stlblues and #oilers in talks about Shattenkirk. Oilers offering Nugent-Hopkins; Blues asking price: Taylor Hall or Jordan Eberle. - Retinalz
No chance I would trade Hall if I was the Oil. We are talking about arguably a top ten player in the league for what is a 3rd or 4th defenseman. I think Nugent-Hopkins should be enough to get a deal done, especially given Shattenkirk's free agent status next year. |

It definitely would be expensive for a year and not a smart move if they couldn't talk to the agent to see if Shattenkirk would extend in Edmonton. |

I'm surprised that RNH has less value than Eberle.
I think moving RNH will hurt the Oilers a lot more than people are thinking. |

Wow Keith Tkachuk let himself go. - Retinalz
Do you not recall his last couple of season in the league.
Wasn't he suspended by the blues for being too fat?
Edit. Here is the old Blues Blogger on HB in 2005.
Keith weighed in at 298 pounds!
Ha Ha, scared you didn't I. He actually weighed in at 256
Pounds. One player told me told me at one point hewas
probably around around 285 pounds, although others say closer to
300. The fact of the matter is, it doesn't matter. |

he has developed a good 2 way game, I think if Blues want Eberle they should ask to take to agent first about a resigning and then do it if the agent says he would be interested. I think he would. Who wouldn't want McDavid feeding you the puck on PP1? |

I actually think he is the better of the two too. I think he has less value cause they have the top 2 center spots locked. |

I'm quite surprised that Nugent-Hopkins seems to be undervalued by so many people. He's just 23 years old and still filling out, yet he's done quite well thus far in his career (injuries haven't helped either). The upside is obviously there and if the Oilers can ever get their sh*t together, we are looking at a key component of their core |

any little fine I think is worth the pr for the club and the message that they want to be a playoff team. and sell some season tickets.
just don't want to see any long ufa signings, but that is often the nature of ufa signings.
