It's a fact he can play in the AHL. He was on loan from Sweden club. Its a benefit of him. Rumor is currently though that he will go back to Sweden for a year

Grigorenko was drafted 2nd in 2011. Grigorenko couldn't play in the AHL.

No. People were saying Nylander wasn't drafted. He obviously was. So was Grigorenko, Grigorenko wasn't allowed to play in the AHL until he fulfilled his CHL obligations. So how is Nylander allowed to? I get that they're saying he was "loaned" not drafted, but it's there in black and white he was drafted.

Edit: And all the draft stuff says he was drafted out of Mississauga, not Sweden.

Ya got that right but there was no way they were trading 8 for Fowler. That was crazy talk. He has how many years left before he is UFA on top of him not being good enough for a top ten pick.

I predicted he was going to fall into the teens. Not sure how far he is going to fall. I was not big on him. Maybe we'll all be surprised but his decision making left some to be desired.
