All things being equal (or close to it), I highly doubt Stamkos chooses Buffalo over Toronto. I think it would take a serious overbid, like $12Mill plus to sway him.

89 said Girgensons for Fowler straight up. If it costs more than some combo of the usual trade pieces I'd rather just move on. Not interested in trading Fasching for Fowler.

MEH, who needs the 2nd best scorer in the NHL....certainly not the Leafs, better to save that cap space for Lupul, Clarkson types.

But I'd assume the Ducks want something better

Ew are you serious? Why would we give up offense for not that big of a difference on defense? We were 26th in offense last year! 26th! We have like 3 prospects on offense who have ANY chance at NHL time so there's no way I want to give one of the better ones up. It's a mix of Girgensons, Pysyk, Ennis, 2nd or lower pick. Anything else and I don't want him. Defense was 16th last year, I can roll with that.

By the way, not trying to Troll....just stating honest opinion. I just can't see Stamkos signing in Buffalo given the choice between the 2 (Toronto/Buffalo). He could pick a total different destination altogether.
