I'm not a Bishop fan at all either. But at least he's big/takes up space...but CAL may be trading for Bishop midseason anyways
- PatShart

OK, Shart. I will concede this. But only because you win the board with the Tkachuk post earlier.

I'm happy about the return but still quite sad to see Shaw go. Gonna be hard to replace his heart (not to mention net front presence/scrappy goals)

Is that the ice cream parlor in Northbrook?
- Dabearshawks

It's an ice cream place, didn't know they had one in Northbrook. It's awesome. I gain about 12 pounds just driving by the place.

Just started watching highlights of the draft. IS that really Keith Tkachuk? Guy looks about 150lbs. over weight.

I know...I cringe, but Sakic is a brilliant hockey mind so you know getting a kid like Jost in there was a smart move. You win Cups with great PEOPLE/COMPETITORS and not just talent. This is a great pick by the Lanche

In front of STL defence with hitch where all they did was yet to not let the other team score.

What was he prior to that with OTT and COL

Every single kid under 5'11" 165lbs is "The Next Patrick Kane" during the draft. Kane was #1 overall, it's an insult to #88.

I'm really hoping Stan can use 2 of their 3 2nd rounds to move up and draft Rubtsov.

Oh I agree....but they have to sell time.

What's more interesting to you? Some kid coming up from juniors highlights or watching Kaner? Yea me too.

It would be more accurate to label him "The Next Tuevo Teravainen"

Not necessarily meant to be an insult. However, it's used as a tool for those in America that are hockey-stupid to conceptualize what's going on.
