My guess is Stan parts with 1 or 2 of those 2nd rounders so that he doesn't have to eat salary in a move for Crawford somewhere.

Perhaps...unless they don't see much more value from late 1 to the 2nd round, then they could take more shots in the 2nd round.

Never know if a guy is there late in the 1st who they have rated high, but keeping those 3 2nd round lottery tickets gives you more chances of hitting something good.

I stand by this and I will take a long term gentlemen's bet that Laine > Matthews by the end of their ELC. The guy is big, quick and just absolutely filthy hands/finishing ability. I think he pots 25+ his rookie year. |
