Work was supposed to be easy going today. But Brexit (frank)ed all of that - RAGSareDANGERus
I don't understand these idiots. Why the immediate panic, there is a two year negotiation period before Britain withdraws. They can't just take their ball and go him the way their Prime Minister just did. Buyers market out there right now in stock land.
Sell high, keep him around this year, when he scores 40g, sell him next year with 1 year left on the contract. We will get a killing. - mdw7413
I agree, I don't like this Rick Nash talk. he's our only legit sniper on the team. Granted he had a bad year last year but I wouldn't trade him. Rangers are making the same mistake they did when they let Jagr walk and tried replacing him with Markus Naslund. Remember how that worked out.

Good Nash, bad Nash, good Nash, bad Nash..... This year is good Nash.
Yea Hayes just had a sophomore slump like so many other players. he's too young to just trade away and not see if that first year was just a fluke - rangers425
It's always a risk. The oilers took that approach with Yakupov and every season he's just become more and more stale. Now they can't get two 3rds for the former 1st overall pick.

I predict that Hayes gives Sam Rosen the orgasm that finally kills the bastard ending the curse and we win the Cup

Hopefully Hayes is on that same schedule - RAGSareDANGERus
Big year for Hayes, he slumps again, he's gone. I give him some time, just like Miller. AV publicly called Miller a good AHL'er. Some kids just need a few years.

It is, but look at the skill set of the three Kreider/Miller/Hayes. I would argue Hayes has the best. And lets be honest, Miller & Kreider had no idea how to play defense until last year either. These guys need some time to grow.
I havent heard the Jets are interested but would like to see them go after Brassard or Stepan for the 22nd over all plus one of our young prospects ( not Ehlers or Connor though )

Problem for the Rangers, they have 4 centers right now, Brass, Stepan, Hayes, Lindberg. Lindberg won't be back till after Thanksgiving. If the Rangers trade 1 of them they are now down to 2 centers. I honestly don't see it unless a center was coming back, or it was a deal they couldn't pass up.

Kreider has the best physical attributes.
Hayes and Miller both have nice vision and playmaking ability. I think Hayes is a little better but Miller has a nicer shot.
Hayes is also more of a finesse player who tries to dangle while Miller is more of a in your face player who goes for hits, though he's capable of busting out some sweet dangle sauce too.

Yeah, I agree with that assessment. Miller best shot. Hayes best hands, and playmaking. Kreider is just a beast, but has use it more.
Kreider could be much more physical then Miller, its part of the frustration.
