#NYR GM Jeff Gorton is trying 2 move Girardi and/or M.Staal as #NHL Draft nears, per source. Each would have to waive no-move clauses tho - jimbro83
If he somehow makes this happen:

It is not believed at this point that #NYR has asked either Girardi or Staal to waive NMCs. But it's early #NHLDraft2016 |

Boston believed to be front runners for Shattenkirk, Gorton needs to make this not happen, I'm trying to stay positive but this season could be an even bigger disaster than last |

Call me crazy but logically why would he be working the phones on two guys with clauses the day of the draft? I'm assuming he's asked and he got the Ok |

I'm starting to feel more and more that if they don't get something done with Girardi they will buy him out |

There are other options out there in addressing their blueline needs. I like Shattenkirk too but I don't think the pieces fit for a deal. |

I'm not going to freak over Shattenkirk but they need to shake things up. I don't want to hear at the beginning of the season the reason the roster is the same is because the right deals weren't there. If some of these rumors are trye, you make those alleged deals. |

It would take a package similar to Yandle minus one piece.
We dealt Duclair + 1st + 2nd. Shattenkirk will probably take Buchnevich and either a 1st or 2nd. |

I really want Shattenkirk, Dumba, and either Girardi/McIlrath down that right side, I agree with Jimmy that it's becoming increasingly likely they buy out Girardi |

I like shattenkirk but i would rather just wait a year when he is a ufa to go after him. |

I just don't want them to sit tight and wait while other teams get better and start plucking the available players |

If he goes to Boston they'll sign him long term with out a doubt, aside from NY he'd love to return to his BU roots |

Yea, that's too rich for the Rangers blood.
Shattenkirk is UFA next summer and all signs point to him wanting to play for his favorite hockey team during his formative years. |

Believe it or not but the Bruins are at a serious crossroads with their lineup; even more so than the Rangers.
I think push comes to shove Shattenkirk would choose the Rangers next summer. |

I like Dumba a lot sans that ridiculous last name. |

Not on a UFA move. A trade this summer, yes, I agree with this. |

We better be picking in the 1st round next year, 4 years is long enough. IMO |

Yea that's what I meant.
Can't give away more blue chip assets for a player that may walk. |
