I didn't expect more for a goalie.

Let's all be honest, Elliott isn't an elite goalie. He isn't a workhorse. He has been a split time goalie. And did a great job at it. Getting a very high 2nd for him is a good return. Especially when he wasn't going to be around after next year if we kept him.

I am fine with Allen as our net minder, i was hoping for more (guess it was a pipe dream) If we can bring back Backes i am fine with it. Brouwer i like but he has only spent 1 year with us. I don't watch many oilers games so i really know nothing about Eberle. Its instinct and emotion right now. somehow i trust Army to do a good job and maybe this is part of a bigger deal than just trading Elliot??? Just don't like losing Moose for a 2nd rounder but our scouting has been good(Fabbri, Parayko) maybe they have someone in mind
