The media didnt show any after parties after the vote lastnight.. i wonder why... they are baffled... seems like a power to the people moment.. Im happy for the leave party. - Arctic_AARDVARK
some interesting stats posted:
66% people who left school at age 16 voted leave
71%of those with university degrees voted remain.
8 hours after polls had closed, Google report that searches for "what happens if we leave the EU" had more than tripled in the UK.
Many people didnt seem too sure exactly what they were voting for.
Even the politician who said the UK would save about 300 million pound per week is now saying that number is not exactly correct.
From what I heard the number is closer to 190 million about breaks and what the EU was giving back to the UK.
I'm a fan of the tournaments and support teams from the "roots." I always support the Oranje but this year, my other half has been a wonderful story. Never thought the viking half of my family would do so well!
I also grew up in a predominantly Portugese neighborhood. Spend any time around them during Euro is terrible. The World Cup is even worse because as soon as they lose all of the sudden every Portugese person is also Brazilian.
My hate for Italy isn't real and is just irritate my brother in law.

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but IIRC, he was participating in the World Championships.
So he wasn't in bed playing GTA, he was sleeping so that he could be at his best to play hockey. - Atomic Wedgie
Yep, you're right. Both were.
Just my thing I guess. I have kids, I teach them respect. If he is going to do the interview....get the (frank) out of bed. It's not that hard.
(Believe me, I am far from the conservative ninny type....but I'm not running around saying I'm the best player in this year's NHL Draft. Show a little respect.)

Do you think the poorly educated benefit from labour mobility or freer capital markets? All they see is the danger from those who they think will take their jobs. Like in the US a growing economic divide brings irrational political outcomes.

1 year and there were no deals! Ya got me! Sorry - MCharisma91
Uh...no there were a couple of trades....there are usually a few trades every year on draft day....most of the time...they arent big trades.
Its ok....trades will come....I know you've been waiting for this day with bated breath and a box of kleenex. Im sure you even cancelled your Dungeons and Dragons usual Friday night gathering in your friends basement and told you mom months ago, that between 7-9pm the TV is yours.
