If we were going to trade for the 3rd, I wouldn't take a dman there because I think there'd be a dman at around 7-12, and it would cost less than a package of JVR+prospect+picks (as possibly offered for the 3rd pick)

I know this won't happen...but imagine if the Leafs got the #3, and Winnipeg picked the other Finn, so the Leafs ended up with Matthews and Laine. Not because that would be a good combo, because that would cause Spatso's head to explode.
