I have a big interview this morning so at work now, heading out around 10:15, going to that heading home and hanging out till I head over to the Bruins draft party
I have a feeling they will do something interesting tonight. I also have the feeling that as sweet as it is to be drafting 1st, the first round will be pretty boring after that for you all. But who cares. MATTHEWS - RickJames77
the top 10 will be intresting... looking like sergachev might be the only defenseman to make it.

You can only intentionally tank once . Edmonton isn't doing it on purpose. The management was just that bad. They don't have to go out and get stamos and subban..... thats not tanking. Go with the roster of the youngsters you have and see where it takes you. Next year use assets to upgrade the blueline - Shteven
Agreed. If they make strides and have some pieces they can move, great. If they move up the standings somewhat, they can still get a Dman with that pick. The whole key is they're not throwing away picks anymore. Upgrading the D can be an ongoing project.

That Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye that has all the hype around it is delicious. It's dangerous because it's really tasty, I actually end up drinking more of it for flavour. Then I look at how far the bottle has gone down and I'm like uh oh, that must be why I'm feeling so good.
get home from work, put beer on ice and in cooler.. Order Pizza & Wings! .. lock in to draft... Tomorrow.. more beer, and lock in all day. Good times - Popcorn Kid
I really want us to trade up to get him, but I don't see that happening. I won't be surprised if they stand pat and draft McAvoy or Fabbro - RickJames77
idk why people are so high on Fabbro.. hes not Fabbri

I haven't seen much of him to be honest. Just relying on what I've read/heard. Where do you think Sergachev goes? I'm guessing 7 or 8? I'm not even sure what it would take to move from 14 to there

Don't throw away picks and don't throw away cap space with lots of term going after a quick fix. This rebuild isn't a year old. We've been drafting top 10 for a few years (minus Gauthier). The fans have a lot of young talent to cheer for next year, no reason to rush it.
dude,, Leafs don't need Subban equally as much as Stamkos...
not even close.. what would Subban bring? his defensive play is pretty bad - Arctic_AARDVARK
I may be wrong but hasn't Subban been left off team Canada numerous times and Babcock was the coach. Capt'n Obvious here but he just might not be a Bab's type of player.

Absolutely. And that's what ShannaLouCock have been saying every time. The fans will be happy as poop watching the young talent play even if they are a non-playoff team. No need to pull a Burkie and fall on their face. I love what they're saying about building a long-term program.
