Believe this year his salary is 4 million then drops to 1 million for 4 years. he's a great cap hit vs low salaried guy. Now would Wirtz be OK with that after paying him HIGH dollars with a high cap hit or does he want to reap those salaries now?

As far as the Flames talk, Crawford there makes too much sense. They are looking for a goalie and if Rutherford knew the Flames were in the market for Crawford, that's one less suitor for MAF.

I think there is very little chance that they Move hammer or Keith. Way to good of deals when you look at what Arizona and Florida just coughed up for lesser d men. I think the name that JJ was asked not to share is Seabs. Cant be hossa because of recapture penalty. Toews and Kane are Toews and Kane (although i would understand moving Toews) and he has already told us crawford, anisimov, and Kruger. Who else could it be that they werent wanting the name out there? Panarin? That would be absurd to me. Only one that makes sense is Seabs in my mind unless it is a bottom 6 or bottom 3 guy but then whats the big deal with their name getting out
