depends... i think more special teams guys, especially PK, who play depth roles for forwards.... someone like jamie mcginn.....especially if they intend to have such a young group up front in the top 6

as for D... i think they might sign a cheap UFA or... if the right deal comes along for an established top 4 guy they make that move. they wont sell off the future for anyone tho... i am fully convinced of that.. if they go the cheap ufa route.. maybe someone like kris russell... or maybe even kyle quincey(he would have to take a major pay cut tho) ... both guys are around 30.. so not too old... but can come in and be an experienced guy who can take on a bottom pairing role and PK work.

I don't doubt that he will be a good player but it seemed like they rushed him up.

apparently since LA GM confirmed Lucic will not be resigned by LA, Lucic is now already free to speak with other NHL teams. At least, that's what I read (don't remember where)

Already dominated men in a pro league and is just far more complete at every level than Nylander.

no

kreider is an impending RFA... hence the cheap price

and kreider is a 3rd line winger who can step into a top 6 role.... JVR is an established top line winger... huge net presence nowadays too.. works great with kadri as the setup man

doubt you rarely see JVR and Matthews together except maybe on the PP
