Bob McKenzie just now on Subban: "I don't think he's gonna be traded."

I think we can put this one to bed

You are not alone. I still think Girgensons is a prototype 3rd line center and a guy who can move all over the wings and up the lines when needed.
- JVince11

If they get rid of 28 ,it makes alot of sense to draft brown and be your 3rd center. The sabres have talked to oreilly and eichel about stamkos. One of them would play wing

I would only trade for him if it's a sign and trade it's going to suck when he leaves for the Rangers next year and we're stuck with nothing
- GERBE!!!75PTS

And his contract will be huge. We have risto to sign also.

I know it has been said a million times. But go back to what i wrote 7 months ago. The sabres will outbid anyone to get stamkos. It is all if stamkos wants to come here. Plain and simple. The sabres have offered a pick for his rights. Tamps still holding out to try and sign him.91 wants to test makret
My contact just confirmed the sabres still have 28 and a 3rd on table for fowler.trying to get that done

- Buffalo39

Would love that deal for us.

Wouldn't mind seeing Kane sent out for another Top4(24-28 years old). Dumba/Brodin type?

I've thought that for a while. If you're bringing in a guy like Stammer, I think the organization should at least have the respect to ask one of those guys if they'd be willing to play wing. I know if it was me, I'd gladly give up center to be on his wing.

Honestly ,thats what i would do and save with current money now. Take it for what it is worth. I was around the people in the know last night. Terry pegula is going to make a splash in the next 2 days. Laugh all you want. They believe with the moves made here at draft, within 2 years they will be a viable cup contender. Just regurgitating what they think

Does anybody know if there is a TSN or RDS stream that can be watched throughout the day today? I hate the NHL network and it's constant replays of absolutely nothingness

Only way the Sabres trade for 2 defensemen (and moving Kane) is if Bogo is going out as well.

They can only protect 4 D MAX at the end of the year for the expansion draft.

Right now the 3 are Risto, Bogo (have to cause his NMC that kicks in soon), and McCabe.

If you add Fowler he gets protected. I don't see them adding a blueliner via trade maybe pick up one during Free Agency though, but you don't give up assets only to lose that player in a year.

That is a great point. Kane is the perfect player with speed and thumping. He does go a hundred miles and hour, but injury prone

If they get all the pies in the skies yes a contender

Are they still going to try to trade for third or fourth and get TK ?

I'm pretty certain with Eichel in his 3rd/4th years is going to ravage other teams. With or without Stam

But imagine if he had a line mate that took attention from him?

Dude will rock the NHL with stats, assists and goals. I think he will smash the league this year, have similar per game stats as McDavid did last year.

Considering Terry's comments on WGR I can see him pushing to make big splashes. I'm not laughing at all. I do think there may be some players moving that we haven't heard about i.e. Kane simply because they do have value and can shore up a place where we really need help. I happen to like the game Kane plays, however his value to us in his position versus someone else in a position of need I think that is a factor. Since GMTM I am traded for Kane, I am probably barking up the wrong tree

That's what surprises me when I hear Foligno's name in the rumor mill. He seems to be TM's ideal 3rd/4th liner.
