Is Fowler physical at all?

He has pretty solid offensive numbers. Somewhat of a smaller frame for a defender ot my liking at least. Does he use his body to make checks or is he pretty one dimensional?

No thanks, Fowler isn't worth the 8th IMO and #24 is a crap shoot.

Articles that he wasn't happy with how he was being used. I don't remember where/when or if they can be found but I remember that. I'm not sure how much could have been lost in translation but I took it as him thinking he's better than he's being used for. He was used as a 3rd line checking forward and wasn't happy there when honestly it's his best shot at being successful here since he doesn't have the hands, the speed, or the skill to be a scoring forward in a good top 6.

all this. If you told me that someday in the future Girgensons played a key role as a 3rd liner on a cup winning team, I wouldn't be shocked at all. Heart, grit, toughness is all there. He's not a scorer though and that isn't anything to be ashamed of. I don't recall hearing he was unhappy, I hope that isn't true because I think a line of him, Larsson, and a guy like Fasching would be great for us to have in the next few years.

Change that to 4th line checking role and I'm happy. This isn't the 80's, I don't want a checking line and a 4th line that can't do anything. Move that checking line down to 4 and the 3rd line can play D but also score.

My thing is this, if you think Girgensons would be able to play on the HBK line this year for Pittsburgh then keep him.
