Tatar and Datsyuk's contract for a 3rd is a better option than a 3rd for Nash IMO.

Always liked Nash and wanted the Sabres to make a play for him when the Rags did.

My offseason moves if we don't get Stamkos would be to sign Lucic if term and dollars are not outrageous. Try to trade for Fowler without giving up Girgs. If we can't get Fowler, sign Kris Russell. Keep number 8 and draft the best D available, unless we can trade up to get Tkachuk.

I hate rick nash(only room for one #61) but..
He played on some very poor CBJ teams and honestly never with a pure #1 center(still has great numbers).
But both him and Hossa are extremely underrated defensively

I don't see any way ennis gets is hoffman. Players with his term coming off of a concussion don't get moved for anything of value, if they are even tradeable at all.

His numbers are irrelevant. He is coming off a long term concussion and it remains to be seen if he can still play/produce.

Right now, he is a detriment in any trade. He needs to rebound (recover might be a better word) before he can be moved for anything of interest.
